THE LOST EXPLORER
The Lost Explorer is a small-batch agave spirits brand founded in 2020 by environmentalist David Mayer de Rothschild, producing artisanal mezcal in Oaxaca under the hand of maestro mezcalero Fortino Ramos, alongside a recently launched additive-free tequila.
The brand is as serious about sustainability as it is about the liquid — bottles are made from over 55% recycled crystal and sealed with biodegradable beeswax, and every agave used is offset by three replanted.
